The new Rev is soooo annoying! And Amar is becoming annoying for letting him get away with it all!

What happened to Joe and Baber’s daughter? Have they been written out with Rev Magee?

    • KiwiKidd on October 7, 2009

For a lawyer, Ammar sure isn’t very smart. What’s the deal? Why are the writers making him look stupid and guliable? He is supposed to be a leader, an Imam, not a door mat. I hope this gets better as the season goes on.

yeah i agree they’re making Ammar look stupid and it’s not as funny because i just get so annoyed with thorn.

Magee is so much better than Thorn. I am almost compelled to fast forward whenever he comes on to the screen.

They already have a xenophobe in Fred, they don’t need another one on the show.

Annoying. This show is missing the great theme it has built itself on!

So very disappointed, waited all summer for new season only to have this. What are the writers thinking. Magee brought a sense of humanity and compassion. Rev. Thorn makes me think I’m watching reality TV.

is it just me or is the new introduction of the characters not as good as the old one. Amar, Rayyan, Sarah and Fred look like they are faking a forced smile and it’s unnatural… especially Rayyan. love the show tho. i don’t miss an episode :)

Yeah, I hate Thorne! Sometimes I would love to smack on his face, especially when he insults Amaar. But, Amar always appeared to me as a good imaam and generally very innocent, holy man ready to sacrifice everything and bear everything with great patience. I feel rather sorry for him but I would like to see him doing something about it… I also like to see Amaar in action, lol…;-) But, what happened to Magee? They didn’t show at all, how he has left, why he’s left and will he ever come back…? I thought it could finally be a story that has got an end (but I don’t want it to end coz I like the show), yet after watching the new episodes, I understood it might continue without end (and leaving us no hope that Thorne will ever go away or at least change)…;(- If the show was to eventually end, I think it would be by marriage of Rayyan to Amaar which I always wanted to happen because Amaar is really good party for her and he loves her but she does not understand this yet. Maybe one day…;-) But, I don’t want the show to end. I want it to continue. It’s great, anyway. Can’t wait to the next episodes…! ;-)

BTW, not for no reason he was named ‘Thorne’…;* A thorne is that part of a plant, which hurts whenever you try to touch it… It disturbs you and stops you from pulling out a rose with your hands… A thorn (-e) is a thing that is harmful and unpleasant… I think that is why they have given him this name… But, where is Magee?!…;(-
