Awesome episode! I thought Ammar was the one who gave her the compass… that would complicate things. I love the part where the reverend comments that Ammar failed as an imam! :)

It’s annoying that Ammar’s such a pushover. He needs to learn to defend himself; he gave up his office too easily!

All this time we waited! Where is Rayan’s spark with Amar?! Why did they get rid of Rev McGhee. I liked Rev. McGee and this Rev is so racist he makes me mad!

      Yay! It’s back!

Wow! What an opening… I’m upset they got rid of Rev Magee. He was great. The new guy is such a prick, I want to slap him. But I bet the friction causes some interesting episodes to come.
I want to see more with the Rayaan/Amar spark… once she gets over JJ and all. Wow, what a crap move to make, already engaged. >_<

Sorry that the Rev. McGee is being replaced. Hopefully, it’s temporary and he’ll be back. Rev Thorn’s crappy character is just this show needs right now to make it more edgy. You cannot expect everything to always remain the same. Just saying that it makes it more interesting. I also believe thatRyaan and Amar will eventually get together. I admit that I was thought the “perfect gift” was from Amar, but here again, a show that was getting predictable threw a curve that is smart writing and will make the show stay interesing.

I love this show! I am so happy they are back for another season. Brilliant writing, great acting, fun story lines. I was thinking to myself I wish Rev. Magee had a larger part this season and was deeply disappointed to see he is not in Mercy, and replaced by the Rev. Thorne, however I think it sets up another fun filled season full of drama. I am afraid of what will happen when Fred Tupper and Rev. Thorne get together. Oh my, Mercy will never be the same again. I have to say the actor playing Rev. Thorne sure does a wonderful job; I hate him already! His 2-faced character may soften over the season, or cause so much chaos we will be tuning in each week to see if he ever gets his due. Obviously this man has lost the Golden Rule on his many travels. Bless CBC for bringing such wonderful entertainment to us! Greetings from Washington State, USA

Good to see another season. They have to step up the pace now. The tension between the reverend and the imam will be more interesting than the love story. Though Rayyan may end up playing a bridge building role since she is multi-religious and also an important member of the community. BTW, what happened to the Babar-Fatima matchmaking some time back?
